Génesis is the kind of athlete every coach hopes to have. She brings a great attitude every day, gives her best effort, stays coachable, and works hard not just for herself, but for the entire team.
This week, she stepped up to fill a spot in one of our pyramids, taking on high-level skills with a new group. She adapted quickly, perfected the routine, and made it all come together without missing a beat. An invaluable teammate and true Warrior! Keep it up, Génesis!

⚫️ 🔴 Brendan Lee-Nguyen 🔴 ⚫️
Brendan, a Division 1 swimmer and team captain, continues to set the standard in and out of the pool. He has already achieved a CIF Division 1 automatic qualifying time and has been outstanding at both Mt. SAC Invitational meets, earning a 3rd place medal at the Mt. SAC Meet of Champions.
His leadership, consistency, and elite performance make him a true difference-maker! Keep it up, Brendan!

🔴 ⚫️ Sophia Timoshuk ⚫️ 🔴
Sophia had an incredible week, setting a personal record in every event she competed in. Her jumps against Sunny Hills placed her in the Top 10 all-time in all three jump events, with her High Jump and Triple Jump moving to 2nd all-time in school history.
Sophia sets the standard with her commitment, effort, and willingness to put in the work to succeed. A talented athlete, dedicated competitor, and true role model! Keep it up, Sophia!

🔴 ⚫️ Gabriel Beaumont ⚫️ 🔴
Gabriel started the week by setting the school record in the 800m, etching his name into school history. He also placed 8th at Trabuco Hills in a field of 100+ varsity athletes, an impressive accomplishment against top competition. Gabe’s character and leadership are a huge part of our team’s success, and the value he brings as both an athlete and person is immense. Congratulations, Gabe!
MARK YOUR CALENDARS! Troy HS will host its annual physical night on Wednesday, May 13 at 5 PM at Fullerton Physical Therapy. (680 Langsford Dr. #100, Fullerton) - Cost $40. Physical forms must be dated after May 1, 2026 for athletic clearance approval for the 2026–2027 school year.

Jacob Aho
Jacob had a fantastic week, taking 1st place in a very competitive 100m race, while also winning the 200m and helping the Warriors capture the 4x100 relay. The relay team set a new PR, and Jacob also recorded two personal records in his individual events. A phenomenal athlete and true competitor, Jacob continues to shine in his sophomore season. Keep it up, Jacob!

Ratana had a fantastic performance in our league opener vs. Crean Lutheran, taking 1st place in both of her individual events, the 200 Individual Medley and the 500 Freestyle. Her great attitude and consistent effort continue to make her a key part of the team’s success. Great work, Ratana!
